The Kurtz Ranch takes a limited number of outside horses in for training during the spring and summer months. While our specialty is starting colts, we also work with everything from problem solving to training for roping, working cow horse, reining, barrel racing, and trail riding. We use techniques similar to those taught by clinicians like Ray Hunt, Craig Cameron,and Buck Brannaman. We have also worked with some of the top trainers in the working cow horse, reining and roping worlds
			We also provide riding lessons for those who want to learn a new discipline, or just become more comfortable with their horses. During training, we like to include the owner in the process so that both they and the horse can continue to learn and improve. We have complete facilities including a round pen, full sized arena equipped with automatic roping chute and steers, hot walker, and lots of varied terrain for exposing horses to differing situations.
