- Andy Kurtz wins first place in the four year old open cutting in Sulphur Springs, Texas on DMAC Spoonful of Jam (Demi). Demi is owned by Dawn Joyce of Steamboat Springs and Gardinerville, NV.
Legends Sale
- The Kurtz Ranch has been invited to participate in the 2012 Colorado State University Legends of Ranching Sale April 28, 2012.

Winter in Texas
- Head trainer, Andy Kurtz, has set up his winter training operation in Whitesboro, Texas. He continues to start two-year olds, and to train and compete on both reined cowhorses and cutting horses. He will be showing our filly, A Time For Sugar, in the reined cowhorse events beginning this Spring. He will also be starting our two futurity prospects, Pepto's Sugar Daddy and Miss Plain Highbrow.
